Openly Informatics, Inc. and Materials Research Society in e-Journal Agreement

Sept.1, 1998. Openly Informatics, Inc. of Montclair, New Jersey has reached an agreement with the Materials Research Society (MRS), of Warrendale, Pennsylvania, to assist in the publication of the MRS's Internet Journal of Nitride Semiconductor Research.(MIJ-NSR)

Under the one-year agreement, Openly Informatics, Inc. will host and operate the innovative electronic journal for MRS and will provide automated submission processing, editorial management, redaction and rendering services. Editorial responsibility for the journal will remain with MIJ-NSR's Editorial Board, headed by Prof. Cammy Abernathy of the University of Florida.

MRS began publishing the MRS Internet Journal of Nitride Semiconductor Research in 1995 to provide a rapid, peer-reviewed, archival forum for the emerging field of nitride semiconductor research.
