MIJ-NSR Names New Associate Editor-in-Chief

Prof. Bo Monemar of Linkoping University in Sweden has agreed to become Associate Editor-in-Chief of the MRS Internet Journal of Nitride Semiconductor Research (MIJ-NSR for 1998. The Associate Editor-in-Chief is slated to become Editor-in-Chief the following year. Prof. Monemar is internationally known for his pioneering studies of the optical properties of GaN and other semiconductors.

Dr. Toby Strite of IBM Zurich Research Laboratory will step down as Co-Editor-in-Chief of MIJ-NSR at the end of 1997. Since helping to found the journal two years ago, Dr. Strite has made invaluable contributions to the success of MIJ-NSR, and has executed his duties in an exemplary manner. Nitride Researchers around the world owe him a debt of gratitude.

Prof. Cammy Abernathy of the University of Florida will continue as Editor-in-Chief for 1998.

The Editor-in-Chief of MIJ-NSR directs the scientific review of papers submitted to MIJ-NSR, and oversees all other content on the MIJ-NSR website.
