User Registration

You may be wondering why you should even bother to register as a user of the MRS Internet Journal of Nitride Semiconductor Research. There are a number of reasons. Registered users have some additional privileges and receive additional services. A number of these privileges are now in operation.

When you register, you agree that you will abide by the rules of the journal when you take advantage of your additional privileges. The main rules are as follows:
  1. All postings and contributions must reflect professional conduct. This means
  2. Postings and contributions must not infringe on copyrights.
  3. Postings and contributions must not violate antitrust laws.
  4. Copyrights to any postings or contributions shall be considered the property of the The Materials Research Society.
  5. Destructive behavior, hacking, spamming, and denial of service attacks are forbidden.
Anyone who doesn't follow the rules may lose privileges or access.

At the same time, there are also positive things you should do.

  1. You should contribute when you have something valuable to contribute.
  2. If you are asked to review a paper, do a good job of it.
  3. Be nice to people.

Your first (given) name, and initials?

Your last (family) name?

Any name suffix?

Your e-mail address?

Your daytime telephone number?
(Use the one you've given to MRS. Use "x" to indicate an extension number)

Your main affiliation and address?

Are you an MRS member? (Check if Yes.)

If you are a member, enter your MRS membership number (including any leading zeros).

Now, choose a password so that, in the future, the journal can tell that you're probably you. Choose something you'll remember. Don't choose anything so secret that it can't be sent in e-mail.
