You may be wondering why you should even bother to register as a user of the MRS Internet Journal of Nitride Semiconductor Research. There are a number of reasons.
Registered users have some additional privileges and receive additional services. A number
of these privileges are now in operation.

Registered users can contribute to the reference database.
Registered users can contribute to discussions.
Registered users receive periodic e-mail notifying them of new items in the journal
Registered users have "Nitride Semiconductor Research Home Pages" listing their contact information,
and optionally, bios, a home page link, and a list of authored references. The URL's
are in the form "http://nsr.mij.mrs.org/people/ab-registereduser.html".
Registered users can be entered into the Journal's Reviewer Database.
Registration Fees
Registration is now free. However, since MRS Internet Journal of Nitride Semiconductor Research is partially supported by membership fees, we strongly urge users of the journal tobecome members.
MRS members can show their support for MRS and the journal by entering their
membership number during registration. This can be found on MRS mailing labels. If you want to become a member,

All registrations must be renewed on a yearly basis. We'll remind you by e-mail.
Rules and Responsibilities
When you register, you agree that you will abide by the rules of the journal when you take advantage of your additional privileges. The main rules are as follows:
All postings and contributions must reflect professional conduct. This means
No Graffiti.
No Profanity or vulgarity.
No defamatory or libelous remarks.
No racist or sexist comments.
No plagiarism.
Postings and contributions must not infringe on copyrights.
Postings and contributions must not violate antitrust laws.
Copyrights to any postings or contributions shall be considered the property of the The Materials Research Society.
Destructive behavior, hacking, spamming, and denial of service attacks are forbidden.
Anyone who doesn't follow the rules may lose privileges or access.
At the same time, there are also positive things you should do.
You should contribute when you have something valuable to contribute.
If you are asked to review a paper, do a good job of it.
