Photoreflection of the stressed GaInN/GaN layers as a function of composition. Measured c-lattice constants and interpreted x-values are indicated. In contrast to the narrow excitonic signal at the GaN bandedge, a very broad oscillation is seen at the GaInN band gap. The PR DOS band gap is associated with its dominant minimum.
